Outfit – Spring Colors

15 May

I am bringing back my outfit category, mostly because I am obsessed with the corals, pinks, yellows, and royal blue colors.

Dress: Target

Cardigan: New York & Co

Flats: Urban Outfitters

I was stopped today while walking through the parking lot on my way to work by a lovely young women who told me how much she loved my outfit’s color combination.

Yesterday (not pictured) I wore a royal blue pencil skirt with a coral top and pink cardigan with royal blue pumps.  A gentleman passed me by on my way to work and told me how beautiful I looked and hoped I would have a great day.  My first day back to work was a great one and I couldn’t agree more, I love these colors!

Spring Obsession @ Home

11 Mar

Once again I bring up my window cling obsession.

The only season I am missing is summer.. all in due time.

Are you feeling springy yet?

It was a great Friday. I was able to accomplish a lot at work and bill the amount of time needed.  I am excited to start preparing for our guests that are coming in one week!

To celebrate my happy feeling, Luis and I went to our favorite taco place, Taqueria Del Sol and munched on brisket tacos, cheese dip, and margaritas.  I am feeling very happy and ready to watch a movie with my love.

Happy Friday!

King of Pops @ North Ave

21 Feb

The long weekend was full of sunshine and warm weather.

Perfect for something cool and sweet…

Number 65 on my list of things to do while in Georgia.

Steven is the owner of King of Pops and sells hand crafted ice pops from local ingredients.  The first time we went, he opened his cart up for business around noon and by the time we got there at 3 pm, he was pretty much sold out.  We did get to try the Chocolate Sea Salt popsicles which were super creamy and tasty.

So, we tried again the next day and were able to try an interesting flavor; Tangerine Basil.

Oh sooooo good.  I love the mixture of citrus and herbs.  One of my favorite desserts from The Capital Grille is the lemon cilantro sorbet.

Even the packaging is cute!  I think I am a fan and I might even have to talk Luis into another kitchen gadget to add to our collection.

A popsicle mold!

More Hearts

11 Feb

It’s the simple things that make me super happy.

That includes my obsession of the month, hearts!

Yes! That is a heart ice tray that I picked up at Target for a dollar!  I thought it was worth getting to add to my heart collection.

I promise that soon this obsession will be over with.  Until then I made Luis heart shaped chicken too!

or I think it’s a heart..  err something.  I tired.

More Love, More Pink

10 Feb

Poor Luis.

As Valentine’s Day gets closer more pink, hearts, and girly stuff appear.

Now I have attacked the bathroom.

This is the set I bought last year for my bridal shower. For now, it’s nice not having an all white bathroom.  I would like to keep this up until May, but I have a feeling even I will get tired of the pink (oh my).

And it’s not even over yet! I have more girly decor coming!

Poor, poor Luis. I am so glad he loves me =)
