Cravin’ Mexican
and right next to my favorite Atlanta restaurant, JCT.
Taqueria del Sol has a few rolling glass walls that they open up during the warmer months on the warehouse style inside part of the restaurant with an attached covered outside area. I would consider this place a semi-fast food restaurant since you wait outside in a line, then go up to the counter and order, take a seat, and someone brings out your food for you…. like Pei Wei Asian Diner, but minus the number on the table.
The meal was very tasty, it’s quick, love the artsy area, and it was inexpensive. We spent under 20 bucks and left very satisfied. Plus, they have awesome sweet tea!
Cheese dip
A cup of shrimp corn chowder (loved the hint of cajun spice to it)
Memphis tacos, a Brisket taco, and a Carnita taco
I’ve got my eye on trying the salsa trio so, until next time Taqueria del Sol.
Luis had his school orientation yesterday and was finally able to get his school card (buzz card) and sing up for his classes for his first semester. Luis is now a real Georgia Tech student. He will be taking six classes and might add on another one. This semester’s total was 14k – wow! Let’s hope our in-state can kick in by next semester and bring down that cost.
Wish Luis all the best for all his study hours ahead!!
